Job summary

Westchester Medical Center is seeking a Physician Experience Specialist to enhance the physician onboarding experience through comprehensive process oversight and stakeholder collaboration.

You will manage pre-hire/onboarding checklists, coordinate with leadership and practice managers, and drive standards for physician experience in alignment with regulatory needs. This role emphasizes process improvement and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of healthcare experience, preferably in physician practice.
• Proven experience in project management and process optimization.
• Strong customer service, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and enhances physician pre-hire and onboarding checklists, ensuring timely completion and process efficiency.
• Serves as a liaison for leadership, practice managers, and new physicians, delivering updates and resolving onboarding issues.
• Lead the effort to develop clear standards and expectations for physician experience, learning and best practices.
• Develops and implements process improvements to streamline onboarding and status changes.
• Identify delays in onboarding and take corrective action to avoid disruptions; escalate high-priority issues and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Manage confidential provider and practice information with discretion.
• Lead onboarding projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing provider experience and productivity.
• Assist in onboarding alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
