Role Overview

The Physician Compensation Analyst in our medical group supports stakeholders by compiling physician compensation plans, department forecasts, and physician metrics reporting monthly. Responsibilities include tracking, compiling, distributing, and managing departmental forecasts, productivity, and reporting. The analyst also assists with provider recruitment, creates and maintains a master database for report generation, and works with leadership to communicate financial performance.

Responsibilities
  • Compile compensation and productivity forecasts with benchmarking data.
  • Prepare financial reports for strategic planning.
  • Maintain provider database and ensure accurate accruals.
  • Compile month-end metrics and update dashboards.
  • Evaluate performance and contribution margins with leadership.
Budget and Forecasting
  • Develop annual forecasts in collaboration with leadership based on productivity and financial data.
  • Provide ongoing modeling support for physicians based on performance changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, data analytics, accounting, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a medical group or physician practice.
  • Experience developing physician compensation models.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Excel, and reporting tools.

Compensation

Pay range: $67,828 - $105,144. Actual pay varies based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
