Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Compensation Analyst will report to the Compensation Manager within the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of our pay programs and policies, as well as conducting thorough compensation analysis and audits. Requires expertise in data analysis, knowledge of compensation best practices, and an understanding of relevant laws and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Daily administration of company compensation programs, including base pay and short-term incentives, such as:
  • Support high-volume of integrations & re-organizations by conducting job pricing and exemption testing for all positions
  • Audit and maintain job description library and related compensation data elements/structures within ADP
  • Participate in compensation surveys, conduct research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends
  • Assist the Compensation Manager in executing annual merit and mid-year compensation cycles including data audits/clean-up, system setup & validation, preparing employee communications and compensation statements, and HRIS bulk uploads
  • Collaborate with HRIS & Finance teams to ensure accurate compensation data reporting
  • Support HRBP, Talent Acquisition, and managers in making effective & equitable pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines
  • Prepare ad-hoc compensation and budget reports for management
  • Ensure company compliance with applicable compensation regulations and laws including reporting requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in compensation analysis. Direct experience with market data tools and salary surveys
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, finance, business, or related field
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation management software (e.g., ADP, CompAnalyst)
  • Knowledge of key employment laws including federal and state regulations
  • Understanding of FLSA and other relevant compensation regulations
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer service.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with Excel, including PivotTables, VLookup and related formulas.
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills
