Job summary

Candidates should have strong knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding, experience with practice management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical college certification preferred.
• Five years of medical billing experience preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Edit and bill physician and clinic claims to payers for charges incurred at FirstHealth clinics.
• Follow up with payers regarding non-payment, denial, and/or underpayment.
• Ensure billing is compliant and accurate.
• Manage clinic accounts receivable to ensure timely filing and add documentation reflecting payer communications.
