Job summary

CalvertHealth is seeking a skilled billing coordinator to support the Patient Financial Services (PFS) leadership team. The role focuses on coordinating and processing billing and follow-up claims, analyzing workflow, denials, and using system reports to identify challenges and opportunities in the billing process.

Collaboration with the PFS Manager to drive improvements, ensuring efficient workforce and alignment with Revenue Cycle and Finance Division objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of healthcare experience in a business office setting.
• A minimum of one year professional billing experience in healthcare is required.
• Technical certification through AAHAM or obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process billing and follow-up claims.
• Assist PFS Manager with analyzing workflow, denials, and using reports to identify challenges and opportunities.
• Make recommendations to create an efficient and effective workforce; work as part of the PFS leadership team to support Revenue Cycle and Finance.
