Chestnut Health in the United States is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Physiatry team. You will collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other providers to develop and execute comprehensive rehabilitation plans that restore function and independence.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. The role emphasizes patient education, documentation excellence, and ongoing professional growth in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualificações

• Active license to practice in the state of employment.
• Current DEA license required at start date.
• Current controlled substances license required at start date.
• Must be certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA).
• Interest in Physiatry/Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Orthopedic experience is a plus.
• Physiatry experience is a plus.
• Skilled Nursing experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation treatment plans with therapists and nurses.
• Conduct patient assessments including histories, exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to improve function and independence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and educational activities.
• Document evaluations, plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in EMR.
• Educate and counsel patients and families about rehabilitation and post-discharge care.
