Chestnut Health seeks a Physician Assistant to join our Physiatry/PM&R team in a patient-centered, collaborative setting. You will work with therapists, nurses, and other clinicians to design and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans aimed at restoring function and independence.

Competenze

• Active Physician Assistant licensure in the practicing state.
• Current Controlled Substance License required at start date.
• Current DEA license required at start date.
• NCCPA certification.
• Interest in Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Orthopedic experience a plus.
• Physiatry experience a plus.
• Skilled Nursing experience a plus.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Perform thorough patient assessments including histories, exams, and diagnostics to guide rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to optimize function and independence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing education.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, plans, progress, and discharge summaries in EMR systems.
• Educate patients and families about the rehabilitation process, outcomes, and post-discharge care.
