Qualifications

• Actively licensed to practice in the state of employment.
• Current Controlled Substance License required at start date.
• Current DEA License required at start date.
• NCCPA certification held.
• Interest to work in Physiatry/PM&R.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Conduct patient assessments, histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations to determine rehabilitation goals and interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes and independence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and educational activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in EMR.
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation, expected outcomes, and post-discharge care.
