Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant license (Illinois) required or preferred
• DEA license preferred (required upon start date)
• NCCPA certification preferred
• Interest in Physiatry/PM&R preferred
• Experience in Orthopedics/Physiatry/Nursing settings is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and determine rehabilitation goals
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to optimize function and independence
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and ongoing education
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation process and post-discharge care
