Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Active Physician Assistant license in Illinois preferred.
• Current Controlled Substance License preferred (required upon start date).
• Current DEA License preferred (required upon start date).
• NCCPA Certificate preferred.
• Interest in working in Physiatry/Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
• Conduct patient assessments, including histories, exams, and evaluations to set rehab goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to optimize functional outcomes and independence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and educational activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation process, outcomes, and post-discharge care.
