Qualifikationen

• Active PA license in the state of employment.
• Current DEA license required on start date.
• NCCPA certificate.
• Desire to work in Physiatry/PM&R.
• Orthopedic/ skilled nursing experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses and others to build rehab plans.
• Conduct patient assessments, histories, exams, and evaluations.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to improve function and independence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and education activities.
• Document initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in EMR.
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation and post-discharge care.
