Qualifications

• Graduate from ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program by start date.
• Physician Assistant License (California) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required at hire.
• Physician Assistant National Certificate required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Practice as part of a team under the direction of supervising physician.
• Examines patient and compiles medical data from history and exam.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests including imaging, ECG and labs.
• Performs injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
• Performs department-specific diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
• Develops and implements patient management plans and documents progress.
