Qualifications

• Graduate from ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program.
• California PA license required at hire; National Provider Identifier (NPI) required at hire.
• Physician Assistant National Certificate required at hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Examine patient, perform comprehensive physical exams, and compile medical data.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging, ECG, and labs.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and manage infections.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and document progress.
• Counsel patients on adherence to therapy and health maintenance.
• First assist in surgeries or perform relevant perioperative procedures as applicable.
