Job summary

NMCI Medical Clinic, Inc. in Sacramento/Stockton is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for full-time or part-time work on a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four to five days per week.

The position can be based in either Sacramento or Stockton clinics, with hours flexible within the workweek. The ideal candidate will be energetic, friendly, well trained and a hard-working team player, committed to high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current DEA licensure, DEA eligibility, or furnishing number.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses in coordination with a supervising physician.
• Provide patient consultations reviewing effectiveness of clinical treatments and medications.
• Write orders and record progress notes in patient charts.
• Communicate with medical staff regarding patient treatment.
• Perform additional medical services within outpatient licensure and scope of practice.
