Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program by start date.
• CA PA license required at hire
• BLS certification required at hire

Responsibilities

• Practice as part of a team under the supervision of a physician.
• Examine patients and perform comprehensive physical exams, compile medical data.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
• Perform therapeutic procedures and assist in the OR as applicable.
• Manage patient care plans and record progress notes.
• Educate patients on treatment regimens and health maintenance.
• May facilitate admissions, transfers, discharges, and inpatient rounds.
• Assist in perioperative care and post-operative orders as needed.
