Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program by start date.
• Physician Assistant License (California) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• Physician Assistant National Certificate required at hire.
• Fluoroscopy Permit required, or must be obtained within 18 months from hire in Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology and Radiation Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Practice as part of a team under the direction of supervising physician.
• Exams, diagnoses, and develops patient management plans; coordinates care and provides education.
• May First Assist in surgeries or perform procedures as applicable.
• Assists in admissions, transfers, discharges, rounds on inpatients, and peri-operative care.
• Participates in on-call responsibilities as required by department.
