Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to provide primary care within a community health setting in the Greater Sacramento area.

The role offers comprehensive patient evaluations, chronic disease management, and collaborative care with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include active CA PA license, NCCPA, DEA, and BLS, with 1–2 years of clinical experience in underserved communities preferred.

Qualifications

• Active California Physician Assistant license.
• NCCPA board certification.
• Current DEA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in community health or underserved populations.
• Strong commitment to serving low-income, homeless, or medically underserved communities.
• Bilingual skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
