Job summary

Community Health Network-GoHealth Urgent Care seeks a Physician Assistant to deliver urgent care services to patients of all ages in Central Indiana. You’ll perform exams, interpret tests, diagnose, treat, and perform procedures with independence and teamwork.

You’ll educate patients, administer vaccines, and coordinate referrals while maintaining EMR documentation and patient communication in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed PA with urgent care or emergency medicine experience.
• Experience treating pediatric and adult patients.
• Proficient in urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, casting).
• Proficient in reading EKGs and X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and review patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting and casting.
• Document encounters and treatment plans in EMR.
• Educate patients on care and prevention; administer vaccines.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Work scheduled shifts as assigned.

We would love for you to become a member of our team!About the RoleAs a Physician Assistant (PA), you will provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages. You’ll treat acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.
