Job summary

Community Health Network, in collaboration with GoHealth Urgent Care, seeks a Physician (MD/DO) for the Central Indiana urgent care network. You will provide comprehensive urgent care across ages, diagnose, treat, and coordinate care with APPs while ensuring high-quality patient experiences.

Responsibilities include suturing and splinting, ordering tests, vaccinations, and patient education, with opportunities to mentor PA/NP staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• 2–5 years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Minimum 18 months in applicable practice setting.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Active state medical license.
• Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with EMR systems is preferred.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients across all age groups.
• Take comprehensive medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and X-rays.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe medications.
• Treat minor injuries including suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Record progress notes and manage follow-up care.
• Educate and counsel patients on health and wellness.
• Administer vaccinations and refer for specialized care.
• Supervise GoHealth PA/NPs remotely and assist credentialing.
• Set up 12-hour shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
