Job summary

Community Health Network in partnership with GoHealth Urgent Care seeks a Physician Assistant (PA) Float for Central Indiana. You will provide broad clinical services, treating acute conditions across ages, and work independently or with a physician.

You will perform exams, order tests, diagnose, treat, educate, vaccinate, and escalate when necessary. The role requires 1 year in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine, proficiency in EKG/X-ray reads, and a Master’s PA degree with NCCPA certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a licensed PA or NP in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfort performing minor procedures including suturing, casting, and splinting.
• Proficient in preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
• Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and review patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and casting.

We would love for you to become a member of our team! ### **About the Role**As a **Physician Assistant (PA)- Float**, you will provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages. You’ll treat acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.
