Job summary

Community Health Network and GoHealth Urgent Care are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide urgent care services across Central Indiana. You will assess, diagnose, and treat acute conditions, work with physicians or independently, and perform minor procedures with a focus on timely, patient-centered care.

The role requires strong clinical skills, experience in urgent care or emergency settings, and the ability to educate patients and coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time NP/PA experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult populations
• Proficient in suturing, casting, and splinting; able to read EKGs and X-rays
• MSN in Nursing and NP certification required

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and review patient histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe treatments or meds
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, splinting, casting)
• Document encounters and treatment plans in EMR
• Educate patients on care and prevention, vaccinate
• Refer patients to specialists as needed
• Work scheduled shifts of 4, 8, or 12 hours as assigned

We would love for you to become a member of our team!About the RoleAs a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages. You’ll treat acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.
