Job summary

Spooner is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to support therapists and help patients perform treatment activities and mobility tasks at our Rockwall, Texas site. You will assist with prescribed exercises, reinforce safety, and document patient responses for therapists.

The role emphasizes team learning, a 6-month onboarding program, and access to extensive medical benefits, PTO, and education funds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age or older.
• Prefer majors in Kinesiology/Biology/Exercise Science.
• Prior experience or knowledge as a physical therapy technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with designated aspects of patient care and safety.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist patients with functional activities.
• Safeguard and assist patients during exercises under supervision.
• Observe patient progress and communicate results to the therapist.
