Job summary

Spooner in Glendale, AZ is seeking a full-time Technician to support physical therapists and deliver high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and effective exercise execution, within Spooner’s culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with designated aspects of patient care and serving our patients to ensure safety, successful execution of exercise, and a positive outcome.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as perambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily-living activities.
• Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under direction of professional staff. Will be required to demonstrate correct activity form or function.
• Observe the patient during various physical activities designed in the treatment plan, compiling progress on patients’ response to treatment.
• Effectively communicate patient progress and reactions to treatment to the therapist.
