Job summary

The Orthopaedic Center is seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapy Clinic Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role plans and administers physical therapy treatments for patients referred by clinicians and supports clinic management under the supervision of the Director of Therapy.

You will help coordinate staff across locations, address patient and employee matters with HR, and communicate clearly with patients, TOC physicians, and staff.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required; must have degree from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current Physical Therapy License in Alabama; CPR certification.
• Ability to lead staff, work under pressure, strong organizational and writing skills, self-motivated, teamwork oriented.

Job Overview

The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated Physical Therapy Clinic Coordinator. This opening is a full‑time position averaging 40 hours per week. The Clinic Coordinator will examine, plan and administer physical therapy treatments to patients referred by appropriate professionals as well as fulfill management responsibilities under the supervision of the Director of Therapy. They will also aide positions in certain locations. The Clinic Coordinator will be responsible for addressing any employee or patient matters on site as they arise, and work closely with HR and the Director of Therapy in cases where more action is required. The Clinic Coordinator must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians, and staff.

Qualifications

• Education required: HS/GED. Must have a degree from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy Program.
• License: Must have a current Physical Therapy License in the state of Alabama. Must be CPR Certified.
• Additional Skills/Abilities: Capable of directing staff in a way to ensure an engaging environment for staff and patients that aligns with the goals and mission of TOC; ability to work under pressure; outstanding organizational and writing skills; independent, self‑starting and highly motivated; proven positive, teamwork attitude in work history.
