Job summary

The Orthopaedic Center is seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapy Clinic Coordinator for a full-time role averaging 40 hours per week. The Clinic Coordinator will examine, plan and administer physical therapy treatments to patients referred by appropriate professionals as well as fulfil management responsibilities under the supervision of the Director of Therapy.

Will also aide positions in certain locations.

Qualifications

• HS/GED; must have a degree from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Physical Therapy license in Alabama and CPR certification.
• Proven ability to direct staff and maintain an engaging environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Examine, plan and administer physical therapy treatments for patients referred by appropriate professionals.
• Fulfill management responsibilities under supervision of the Director of Therapy.
• Address employee or patient matters on site and coordinate with HR and Therapy Director as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.

The Clinic Coordinator will examine, plan and administer physical therapy treatments to patients referred by appropriate professionals as well as fulfil management responsibilities under the supervision of the Director of Therapy. Will also aide positions in certain locations. Will be resposnible for addressing any employee or patient matters on site as they arise, and work closely with HR and the Director of Therapy in cases where more action is required. The Clinic Coordinator must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.

Qualifications

Education required:

HS/GED. Must have a degree from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy Program

License:

Must have a current Physical Therapy License in the state of Alabama. Must be CPR Certified
