Job summary

Lionstone Therapy in Youngstown, OH seeks a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to assist in planning and delivering physical therapy services under supervision.

Responsibilities include Telehealth, documentation, billing accuracy, care conferences, and resident assessments with emphasis on safety, HIPAA, and patient education. This role offers daily shifts and loan repayment support.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Associate degree from an accredited program conferring the title of Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Must be licensed or eligible to practice as a PTA in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in planning and directing therapy activities.
• Facilitate Telehealth services to complete evaluations, recertifications, progress notes, and discharge planning.
• Maintain documentation for residents and ensure billing for therapy services is coded accurately.
• Support in care conferences, discharge planning, and resident assessments.
• Instruct residents and family members in home exercise programs and use of adaptive equipment.
• Ensure therapy notes are complete and kept up to date on the date of service.
