Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Illinois is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to work under the supervision of a physical therapist and contribute to patient care.

You will assist in developing and implementing treatment plans, document patient progress, discuss progress with patients, and communicate with the PT, director, rehab staff and facility team to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
