Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Illinois is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our growing team. Working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will assist in treating patients by following individualized plans of care developed by Physical Therapists.

You will help implement treatment programs, document patient responses, communicate with therapists and staff, and operate standard PT equipment to support excellent functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified physical therapy assistant candidates.
• Ability to follow an individualized plan of care created by Physical Therapists.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
