Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Illinois is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. You will work under the guidance of a physical therapist and help implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.

You will assist with all phases of PT services, document patient progress after visits, communicate with the PT, rehab director, and facility staff, and operate standard PT equipment to deliver high-quality care in a collaborative clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
