Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Illinois. Working under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, you will help treat patients by following individualized plans of care developed by Physical Therapists.

You will participate in developing and implementing treatment programs, assist with all phases of therapy, and communicate patient progress to the care team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
