Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support licensed physical therapists in providing high-quality care. You will implement selected treatment components, collect data, and modify interventions under the PT’s direction.

Responsibilities include administering therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and patient education while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required.
• CPR certification required.
• Licensure by passing the National Physical Therapy Exam (FSBPT) required.
• Continuing education units (CEU) required per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Collect clinical assessment scores, radiographic scores, and QoL information.
• Implement and adjust patient treatment plans as directed by the PT.
• Deliver individualized PTA treatments (therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy, etc.).
• Instruct patients and families on treatment techniques and home programs.
• Maintain documentation and reporting per APTA/WPT standards.
• Participate in team meetings and training activities.
