Job summary

Proliance Surgeons, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to support therapists in delivering patient care. The role involves setting up treatment areas, assisting with exercises and transfers, documenting activity, and maintaining a clean, organized clinic environment.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, compassionate, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical setting, with basic clerical skills and willingness to follow established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in medical/therapy settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, motivate, safeguard and assist patients practicing exercises as directed by medical staff.
• Observe patients during treatment and report progress to the physical therapist.
• Assist patients with equipment setup and use of dumbbells, bands, etc.
• Help patients move between therapy areas and assist in walking or transfers.
• Document session data on charts, logs, and billing sheets as needed.
• Prepare treatment locations and organize spaces for upcoming sessions.
• Perform laundry and maintain infection control procedures.
• Clean/disinfect tables, stock supplies, and keep clinic tidy.
• Answer phones, schedule patients, take co-pays, and locate charts as required.
• Participate in conferences and staff education to improve patient care.
