Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed therapists in helping patients recover and regain independence after serious illness, injury, or medical events. You will assist with exercises, mobility training, and documentation, under supervision, to ensure safe, effective therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Requires PTA license or certification in the state of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Under supervision of licensed therapists.

Responsibilities

• Provide support care of residents who seek short-term/transitional care with the goal to recover and rehabilitate.
• Assist in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Document all services to ensure accurate and timely billing of therapy services.
• Ensure patient care follows the Plan of Care and organizational guidelines and standards.
• Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, develop and implement individualized therapy programs.
• Identify need for referrals to other disciplines to address patient needs under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Other duties as assigned.
