Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required in physical therapy assistance.
• CPR certification required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Washington state required, with ongoing CEU requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and procedures.
• Collect clinical assessment scores and QoL information.
• Implement patient treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Deliver individualized PT treatments (therex, gait training, manual therapy, etc.).
• Instruct patients and families in PT techniques and use of equipment.
• Document patient progress legibly and timely per APTA/WPT standards.
