Job summary

Rebound is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join the Rose Quarter team in Portland, OR. The PTA will perform specific therapy procedures under the plan of care of a Physical Therapist and assist athletes to recover, prevent injury, or maintain peak fitness.

Requirements include PTA program completion, current PTA licensure/certification, and CPR/BLS. At least 1 year of PTA experience is preferred; duties include exercises, manual therapy, documentation, and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• State licensure/certification as a PTA. Current CPR/BLS.
• 1+ years PTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of athletic injury recognition, prevention and treatment.
• Familiar with clinical policies, safety, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in the clinic with skilled therapy under a Physical Therapist.
• Perform exercises, manual therapy and modalities as directed.
• Evaluate and document patient treatment and progress.
• Apply protective devices and assistive supports as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists on rehabilitation plans.
• Maintain confidential patient records and HIPAA compliance.
