Job summary

Peak Motion, PLLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team in West Linn, Oregon. The PTA will implement selected treatment components under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, gather patient data, and adjust interventions to progress patient outcomes while ensuring safety and comfort.

The role requires a CAPTE‑accredited Associates degree and state licensure or certification as a PTA.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree by an CAPTE‑accredited program.
• State license or certification to practice and any additional requirements by the state

Responsibilities

• Satisfactory verbal, reading and writing skills to communicate in English.
• Apply therapeutic modalities such as ice, heat and electrical stimulation; monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Document patient progress and status at discharge in the medical record according to departmental policies.
• Sufficient fine and gross motor coordination to manipulate/operate equipment controls and perform manual treatment/assessment techniques.

Education
