Oregon Occupational Medicine is seeking a passionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient team. You will work with licensed Physical Therapists to implement individualized rehab plans and help patients regain strength, mobility, and function.

Ideal candidates have an accredited PTA program degree, Oregon license or eligibility, CPR certification, and strong communication skills to coordinate care and educate patients throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in an outpatient setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records.
• CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Physical Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities aimed at improving strength, mobility, and function.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and techniques for injury prevention.
• Administer therapeutic modalities under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide updates on progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatment and progress.
• Assist in setup and maintenance of treatment areas and equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education to improve skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards for patient care and confidentiality.
