Qualifications

• Associate degree required.

• Experience as Physical Therapist Assistant may be entry level.
• Certifications: American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy.
• Perform physical therapy procedures and tasks delegated by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress notes and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Ensure patient safety and address age-specific needs.
• Treat patients and families with respect and dignity; follow pain management policy.
• Provide direction to the Physical Therapy aide and coordinate workload in the department.
