Job summary

Mercy is looking for a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support its therapy department. Under supervision, you will administer therapeutic modalities, exercises and procedures to patients and collaborate with therapists and assistants to ensure effective care.

The role includes assisting with medical records, keeping the department tidy, and providing support to improve overall department functioning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of PTA Program.
• BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Must have knowledge or background in Allied Health field.
• Experience with therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, exercises and procedures.
• Assist in medical records, upkeep of department appearance and equipment.
• Provide support for improved department functioning.
