Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license in state of practice, or eligible temporary permit.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and mobility activities.
• Administer modalities including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, hot and cold packs, and whirlpool treatments.
• Assist with wound-care procedures while adhering to sterile technique and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress in accordance with department standards.
• Assess and respond to patient pain management needs during sessions.
• Provide age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan.
