Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for part-time or per diem home health visits in the Hatboro/Horsham area. The PTA will assist adults and geriatric clients with treatment, education, and interventions delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Applicants should hold PA PTA licensure, have completed a two-year PTA program, and have experience or readiness for supervised practice. BAYADA offers comprehensive benefits and career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Have current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in PA.
• Graduate of a two-year PTA program approved by the APTA.
• At least one year of PTA experience preferred; supervision by PT required.
• Able to perform PTA duties with basic testing and client education.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to attain or maintain physical well‑being through delegated treatments.
• Provide treatment, tests, and education as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Document services and communicate progress with supervising PT.
• Care for adult and geriatric home health patients in Hatboro/Horsham area.

Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, for a part-time or per diem opportunity performing home health visits. This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Hatboro/Horsham area.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of PA
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have one year of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Other activities, as requested.

• Base pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $42-52 per point
