Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time or per diem opportunity providing home health visits in senior living communities around the Sinking Spring area.

You will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being under a licensed Physical Therapist, with treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated. PA licensure and a two-year PTA program are required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification in PA is required.
• Graduation from a two-year PTA program approved by the APTA, or
• At least one year of PTA experience with a suitable proficiency exam if applicable, and supervised practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to attain or maintain physical well-being with treatments, tests, education and interventions as delegated by a licensed PT.
• Provide home health PTA services during visits to senior living communities.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, for a Part-Time or Per Diem opportunity performing home health visits in senior living communities.This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per visit basis in territories throughout the Sinking Spring area.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of PA.
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have one year of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Other activities, as requested.
