Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time opportunity to perform home health visits throughout York and Adams counties, Pennsylvania. As a PTA you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining physical well-being by providing treatment, client education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Candidates must have licensure in Pennsylvania and have completed a two-year PTA program; one year of PTA experience

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a two-year college level PTA program.
• Must hold current licensure or certification in Pennsylvania.
• One year of PTA experience with a satisfactory proficiency exam (if qualified before Dec 31, 1977)
• At least one year of supervised PTA work experience under a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist clients to attain or maintain optimal physical well-being in home health settings.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA,

for a Part-Time opportunity performingHome Health visits throughout York and Adams counties.

This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per visit basis in their private homes.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have one year of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Other activities, as requested.
