Flagstar Rehab is seeking Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) for Skilled Nursing Facilities in NYC and surrounding areas to work with a multi-disciplinary team, delivering treatments and patient/family education to improve function and cognition.

We offer direct employment or Independent Contractor options, with flexible schedules and weekly pay. A NYS PTA license and EMR proficiency are required, with malpractice insurance if applicable; orientation and benefits are provided.

Competenze

• Current NYS PTA license and registration.
• EMR proficiency required.
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Malpractice/liability insurance (if applicable).

Mansioni

• Collaborate with PT Supervisor and follow Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide therapy services in SNF settings for conditions like TBI, CVA, stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, cancer, orthopedic surgery.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR software.

Flagstar Rehab PTAs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform treatments and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties

• Collaborate with daily with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.

Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
