Flagstar Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Rehab Department in state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facilities around NYC and nearby areas. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality therapy and educate patients and families to improve daily function.

We offer Direct Employment with our agency or to be your own boss as an Independent Contractor. Compensation ranges from $34–36/hour (W-2) or $38–40/hour (1099).

Qualifications

• NY licensed PTA in good standing with registration.
• EMR competence and ability to document sessions.
• Meets all state/federal employment requirements for nursing facilities.
• Malpractice/liability insurance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care.
• Provide therapy services to SNF patients with conditions like TBI, stroke, Parkinson's, MS, cancer, or ortho surgery.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR software.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Physical Therapist Assistants for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art SNFs throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

Flagstar Rehab PTAs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform treatments and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Flagstar Rehab offers the opportunity for Direct Employment with our agency OR to Be Your Own Boss as an Independent Contractor.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties:

• Collaborate with daily with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting,who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
