Job summary

Flagstar Rehab seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for Skilled Nursing Facilities in NYC and surrounding areas. You will work under PT supervision, following the established Plan of Care to deliver quality therapy and support patient independence.

Choose Direct Employment with our agency or be your own boss as an Independent Contractor. Competitive hourly pay: $34–$36 (W-2) or $38–$40 (1099); enjoy weekly pay, paid time off options, and flexible schedules including FT/PT/Per Diem.

Qualifications

• Current NYS PTA license and registration.
• Eligibility to work in the US in a Nursing Facility.
• Malpractice/liability insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting for conditions like TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson's, MS, Cancer, orthopedic surgery.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR software.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Physical Therapist Assistants for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art SNFs throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

Flagstar Rehab PTAs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform treatments and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties:

• Collaborate with daily with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting,who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
