Job summary

Sunnyvale Post Acute is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team in Sunnyvale, CA. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available. New grads welcome; in-house therapy program; compensation $40-$55 per hour.

The PTA will treat patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist, record treatment notes, participate in care conferences, and assist with department maintenance and caregiver training for discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Experience in rehabilitation settings is beneficial.
• Strong communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per PT Board.
• Assist in maintaining department and treatment area.
• Participate in patient care and rehabilitation conferences.
• Assist nursing with training Restorative Aides and caregiver education for discharge.
