Job summary

Sunnyvale Gardens Post Acute is seeking compassionate Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to join our rehabilitation department. Working under a licensed Physical Therapist, you will deliver targeted therapies to residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute setting.

We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities with an hourly rate of $46-$51 and comprehensive benefits for eligible positions. A CA PTA license in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• Requires current California PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility interventions.
• Accurately document treatments in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Communicate resident progress, challenges, and recommendations to the therapy team.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy programs and outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive therapy environment.

Position Overview

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver targeted therapeutic interventions. Your role will be essential in helping residents regain mobility, build strength, and achieve maximum independence—directly impacting their quality of life and recovery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement therapy treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
