Job summary

MGA Homecare is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one pediatric PT services in children’s homes and community settings across the Denver metro area. Work under a licensed Physical Therapist to support mobility, balance, and functional movement while building strong family partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Active Colorado PTA license or eligible to obtain one.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pediatric physical therapy services to children birth through age 21 in home and community settings under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Support treatment plans focused on mobility, strength, balance, gross motor development, and functional movement.
  • Help children build safety, independence, and meaningful progress through individualized therapy interventions.
  • Partner with families and caregivers to promote carryover between visits.
  • Collaborate with PTs, OT, speech therapy, nursing and care coordination teams.
  • Complete timely documentation using electronic charting tools.
