Job summary

MGA Homecare is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support children from birth to age 21 in home and community settings. Flexible schedules with full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Qualifications

  • Certificate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active state Physical Therapy license.
  • CPR/BLS Certification (skills tested in person).
  • Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • New graduates and out-of-state applicants encouraged to apply; mentorship and support available.
  • Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pediatric Physical Therapy assistance for children with genetic, neurological, cognitive, and orthopedic needs
  • Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
  • Educate and empower families to actively participate in therapy
  • Collaborate with physical, occupational, speech, and nursing professionals for coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
  • Supervise PTAs as needed (training available)
